Spades Academy™ by Love, Peace & Spades at Our House

Spades Academy™ is Love, Peace & Spades'™ monthly educational residency at Our House—a coached, educational experience where beginners find their footing, intermediate players discover strategy, and experienced players sharpen their game over a home-cooked meal and curated beverages.

Every session is coached, intentional, and built around the kind of learning that only happens in community. Our expert coaches cover Spades strategy and partner communication, Bid Whist basics, Tunk/Tonk, and Dominoes—in a safe, friendly, nonjudgmental, and encouraging environment where every skill level is welcome.

Whether you’ve never played these #BlackFamilyHeirlooms before or you’ve been playing your whole life, there is always room at the table.

Open to GLAAACC members, their families, and the broader South Central LA community.
