Melvyn D. Richardson proudly served in the United States Army as a radio operator with the 54th Signal Battalion during the Vietnam War. He was honored with the National Defense, Vietnam Service, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, and Vietnam Campaign ribbons. After his military service, Melvyn earned advanced degrees in photography from Los Angeles Trade Technical College and the University of Copenhagen, leading to a successful career as an entertainment photographer, capturing iconic moments in rock music. He later transitioned to real estate, starting as a mortgage banker before moving into residential real estate. Eventually, Melvyn found his niche in commercial real estate, focusing on the senior and adult residential care industry. Today, he specializes in assisting sellers, buyers, and lessors of assisted living facilities, offering expert guidance in this vital market.
